I worked with hundreds of ill and disabled dogs at Gunny’s Rainbow, my water therapy pool. I also managed extraordinary illnesses in my own dogs ranging from various forms of cancer to orthopedic/neurological problems to auto immune diseases.

I’m not a vet! But I do understand a lot about veterinary medicine, how dogs deal with illness, how to find the right vet for your dog’s situation, and the benefits of holistic medicine.

Veterinarians are more in demand than ever before. They simply don’t have the time to spend hours helping you figure out how to improve your dog’s quality of life, deal with disabilities, or manage incontinence. I do! I’ve pretty much done it all over the last 25 years.

I can help you understand your dog’s medical records, talk to you about managing their symptoms, help you figure out how to manage mobility problems, and provide you questions that you might want to discuss with your vet. I can also help you find specialists in your geographic area and research new and cutting edge treatments if you are interested in pursuing those.

I understand how expensive veterinary care can be. There are so many options. I’m great at doing research to help you figure out the best path for you and your dog.
